These shoes are well made, stylish, versatile and comfortable ONCE you have wrestled them on. The opening is shallow, so be warned if you have a high instep they are really quite difficult to get on. I considered returning them, but persisted despite worrying about breaking the leather cut outs the first time. They are slowly getting easier but still require effort, though that is entirely to do with my foot and not the shoe!!
